Back from the states.

I almost wasn't going home at the other side... I went through security holding my boarding pass, and stupidly left it in those tray's that you must first put all your belongings in before you pass through the metal detector. Well I put my shoes back on, took my backpack and went to the bathroom... all the time, completely forgetting I had failed to collect my boarding pass as well. I came back and my Dad thought he'd play a trick on me (although, I didn't realize that he was doing this right away)... he asked me if I had my boading pass, I casually replied: "Yes"... and then paused briefly. I guess I found it odd that he'd ask a question like that. I suddenly realized that I hadn't picked it up. I quickly established that this was clearly a joke... and that he had picked it up for me, but was just testing to see whether I was telling the truth or not... I duno, it's just my dad (lol).

So aside from that little incident, I had a great time in the states. I am also not even jet lagged, as people usually are. It's 7:06 pm here in England at the moment. I'm not exactly full of beans, but im not ready to get 1000 hours of ZZZzzz either.

I guess I'll start feeling it later... if at all. Who knows?

I'll write about my trip in more depth, later (in a few days)... and post up some accompanying photos that I took while there.

Packing stuff and getting ready to leave for the states...

Over the past two days I got my new lens, went out and did some photography, played CSS with a friend, chatted to friends, kicked a ball about... good times. I will be back from the states on the 29th.

Nice to leave on good terms... take care.

The Sigma 170-500mm APO has landed!

Today my Sigma 170-500mm f/5-6.3 DG ASPHERICAL RF lens arrived.

First impressions: WOW!

I can already tell, these two (the lens and the camera) are going to be very good friends. It's hard to believe I actually have it though after so long dreaming about owning one. I just hope I can do it justice...

The shot you see above was taken with my trusty Sony DSC-W7 which served me EXTREMELY well when I used it primarily.

Out of here on the 14th...

Going to California, it's going to be awesome holiday, I can tell... I'm going to San Francisco. It's also the first time I've ever been to Cali as well :P

Third Eye Blind - Greatest Hits ... getting it!

----------
Updated the code on this blog, changed some things around, and updated the layout. I added a fancy email form so you can contact me in style (lol).

I recently purchased a book called 100 Best-Selling Albums of the 90's which, annoyingly, you cannot find on the internet without excessive amounts of searching. The book is awesome though.

Some information about the book
  • A celebration of the 100 best-selling albums of the 1990s based on recording industry figures.
  • Each album featured with sleeve artwork
  • Complete tack listings, musician line-ups and production credits
Here is a photo of the book open, as you can see, I've left the book open on Third Eye Blind to show you what it's like inside... but you can't really see it, so click the picture for a bigger picture.

Getting some cool clothes, shoes and camera equipment soon.

Want to get these shoes:
They're just the sort of shoes I am after, and will last me some time. I remember having similar ones when I was younger... they lasted me for a long time, and when it came to getting new ones, they weren't even tattered or beaten up or anything. I guess that's because I liked them so much and thus treated them with more respect. Also I promised my mum I'd treat them with respect because she paid alot of money for them.

Anyhow, enough of the past. These shoes are reasonably priced at £40. I may get them. We'll see.

However, I want to get these more badly than the ones you see above:
The reasons why I prefer these over the ones above is simply the design/ colour and style. Although you could argue there isn't THAT much between the two, looks wise. They're more appealing and stylish.

Again, these too cost £40, so money isn't an issue here.

Also getting some T-Shirts for this summer holliday too.

Soon, I'll be getting the Lowepro Rezo 190 AW... and that will be purchased before the 16th which is when I leave for my summer holiday.

----------

Finally, I will soon buy the Sigma 170-500mm f/5-6.3 DG ASPHERICAL RF lens. This lens is awesome. It will probably be the last telephoto lens I buy for some time to come, but it'll be worth it. It's £430 from an online shop where I am getting it from. I've saved up £230 for it and my parents said they'd pay the rest, so that's kind of them.

Well, Brazil goes out of the 2006 world cup to the French team. It saddens me deeply but they played incredibly hard... especially in the second half.

As always, you gotta go out with good spirit. Props to Zidane! That guy is phenomenal "It's like he can talk to the ball." Amazing player Zidane.

God Bless Brazil, maybe they can re-claim the title back in 2010. Maybe.
