Finally got a telephoto lens!
On Thursday I received my long awaited AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED lens. It's so awesome to finally have a lens that's not wide-angle. I was kinda getting sick of wide angle photos.
Went out with it yesterday... didn't find anything interesting to photograph though. Most of the plants are in bud at this time or just haven't come up yet. Tree's = boring. All the birds I tried to photograph just flew away when I came near. That sucked. I could have gotten some pretty decent photos of some pheasants but I wasn't looking in the most bloody obvious place (right in front of me) and before I knew it the pheasant had woken up from within the grass and ran off. Those things are hella fast!
I went through some woodland and all round the woods & felids where we normally walk our dog. Didn't find much though. There was this squirrel that I could have taken a photo of but the problem is it ran off because I got to close before I even saw it, so when I did it saw me and sped up a huge tree.
Never mind, I'll take some decent photos in the summer. Just for now though, I have some photo's I took today.

Click on them...
I was after a similar picture I saw from some professional photographers website but didn't quite achieve that. Anyhow, these photos are okay. The second one (the one on the right) is better in my opinion because there is more light. The first one looks a bit to isolated.

Antidisestablishmentarianism isn't the longest word in the dictionary - Period
People who claim it does, suck! Let's look at this the most sensible way:
Antidisestablishmentarianism.
Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.
The second word F'ing owns it right into the ground.
I just have a severe dislike for the way kids think they're so incredibly awesome by trying to impress their friends telling them that "antidisestablishmentarianism" is the longest word in the dictionary... and that they can pronounce it. Big friggin wow...
...
That just sucks. Try pronounce pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, BITCH! |

These are the ultra-small hard disk drives taken out of my computer after it came back. Pretty amazing. They're like the size of my hand and as thin as 2.5cm... they're tiny.
Today's technological advances makes this look trivial but just seeing the size of them compared to a desktop computer's hard drive is pretty damn amazing.
Yo may be wondering why there are two... well I've had my hard drive mess up twice now. Once over Christmas and most recently the Spring break.

In roughly eight hours I will be in school for the first time in three weeks... actually that's not entirely true, I had a washing up job for a wedding which was being held at the school and I went back to do some dumb Math mock exam the other day... so it's not entirely "the first time in three weeks".
My laptop has had a new hard drive fitted and I'm all up and running with all my apps installed 'n' everything.
I have an unbelievable amount of school coursework to catch up on though. This includes 15 hours of Design Tech work and two news paper designs for a tabloid and a broadsheet for Media Studies, to top all that... unit one and two of my Photography assignments. I, seriously, have my work cut out.
Over the spring break I got a job and it wasn't even intentional or anything... at school, before we all broke up, a note was read out in our tutor period. It was about washing up for a wedding that was to be held at the school. Well, the actual wedding was not but the eating of all the food & drink was.
So anyway, I, eager to earn some cash, notified my tutor the next day, via email, and got the job. I guess it was really supposed to be a one off job but once I had finished and was waiting for my dad to come and pick me up to take me home I was talking to the woman who paid me... she asked if I'd do this again, I said that I would, enthusiastically... and I meant it. I love having a job... it's the money factor that is so awesome. I have already planned a few things I will be buying too. I even have enough for that £200 Nikon 55-200mm telephoto lens now. I just need to withdraw £30 from my bank next this weekend. I already have £120.
Oh, yea... encase you care I got £45 in total, and worked from 12 PM to 7 PM but I did an extra hour because I hadn't finished at 7.
So Easter wasn't that bad, I guess. It was okay.
World snooker on T.V at the moment for those of you who watch T.V and enjoy watching snooker. I've been watching it but only because I had nothing better to do. I do like and enjoy watching snooker I just don't exactly go out of my way to do so.
Get this album, it's fantastic. |

I'm back! but...
We didn't celebrate Easter.
How gay.
I just floated about the house as usual and my mom and sister were tenting to our animals, namely horses. Pretty boring really.

New picture of the month is hot... it's Adriana Lima, possibly the most stunning/ beautiful/ sexy/ gorgeous girl alive AND... she's Brazilian, her accent is also incredibly sexy... and British women are disgusting.
Yeh, that just about does my first blog for April. |
